Today I got a sewing machine from Jonathan's grandmother as a Christmas present. I have been day dreaming of all of the things that I could make if I had only had a sewing machine. There are so many things!! I could sew clothes for Hannah...I could actually hem my way too long pants...I could make bags....I could sew my way too long curtains from Ikea that I have had up for almost 1 year....there is so much to sew...well, today Jonathan, Hannah and I went over to his parents house to open presents from Christmas since we were in Floriday on Christmas. I got a sewing machine from his Grandmother! How exciting is that???!? Ok, now I have it and I have definitely bitten off more than I can chew. This seems like the de-luxe....with SO many hem options...with 12 different feet attachments! Holy moly! What was I thinking? I am sure it isn't as hard as it looks. I hope to start making some things soon! Any suggestions??

If you're still confused, the ladies at Joann Fabrics are AMAZING and you can take it and they will help you figure out how to use it and what to do. I'm not sure if that's all the time or if there are specified tutorial hours :-)

Yay! I was hoping you would get one. I could tell that you really wanted one! God is so good isn't he?! He takes care of our "needs" and in many cases our "wants" too. :)
awesome. maybe you can teach me to make some curtains...
miss you and can't wait to see you soon!
